Gender Justice + Trans Equity

Our genders are as unique as we are. No one's definition is the same, and compartmentalizing a person as either a boy or a girl based entirely on the appearance of genitalia at birth undercuts our complex life experiences.

- Janet Mock

As a transgender person who has experienced discrimination due to his gender identity, Bryce knows first hand the importance of equality across the gender spectrum. Bryce is an outspoken advocate for equality, justice, and the right to live as one's authentic self for people of all gender identities. Bryce is particularly passionate about advocating for the rights of transgender people of color and, femme/female-identified people.

Transgender people are not a burden in general, but especially in the U.S. military.

- Bryce Celotto, on CNN's World Right Now with Hala Gorani in response to President Trump's anti-transgender military tweets and policy change. (July 2017)
